Domestic hot water: how it works?Your hot water at minimal cost! How does it work?Domestic hot water (DHW) can be produced using energy extracted from the air or from the ground. The DHW system takes advantage of the high raised temperature of the refrigerant (R134A) coming out of the compressor and circulating in the copper pipes folded around the hot water tank. As a result, the water in your tank (200 L or 300 L) is kept at a constant 60°C without the need for an electric al resistance (as long as the heat pump operates). This allows you to make substantial savings by reducing electricity consumption throughout the year. |
