You can make substantial savings by coupling domestic hot water production with your Sofath® heating installation.
During the winter, even during the summer if you have the cooling option, when the heat pump is running, hot water can be produced using a direct energy recovery system fitted to the compressor and coupled to the water-heater tank. In the spring, and autumn, when the heat pump is switched off, the domestic hot water is heated by an electrical resistance like traditional electric water heater..
