To ensure the highest levels of satisfaction for its customers, Sofath has created a range of water heaters that function using heat pumps. These systems produce hot water all year round, using energy extracted from the ground.
Technical description
The horizontal ground collector takes heat available in the ground, and transfers it at a higher temperature to the hot-water tank.
The heat pump is located beside the tank, and the connection is made with a copper pipe in which the refrigerant circulates. It produces all your hot water, all year round.
A 300-litre tank requires just 30 m2 of horizontal collector coils. The result is an annual energy consumption of around 1,900 to 2,200 kWh.
